17A – Elevator Pitch No. 2

https://youtu.be/Lb9504LEba0

I did not receive any negative feedback on my last elevator pitch. I only had one comment on it and it was all positive feedback! She said my elevator pitch was clear, concise, and convincing; it was very easy to tell why I picked this opportunity. Additionally, I engaged your audience and were very clear about how I planned on bringing your idea to fruition.

I tried to do all the positive things that I did in my last class and I tried to incorporate some of the other things that Professor Pryor mentioned in the video lecture after the last elevator pitch.

  1. Aaron, I think you did a great job on your elevator pitch. Your beginning definitely got my attention and helped paint a mental picture in my head of the issue you were describing. I also like how you talked about how your friends spend hundreds of dollars on Ubers and Lyfts to help show that this is a significant issue. You also did a great job in being specific about your idea. Great job!

I though your pitch was great. It was a real attention grabber, the beginning did a great job of forming an image in my mind of your product and plan. You were specific about the issues you were trying to solve as well as giving examples of these problems to show how much thought you put into the product.

  3. Aaron.
Great work on your second elevator pitch. You had great delivery with this message and showed confidence. You were very assertive in addressing the issue and did a great job at getting the attention of the audience by asking questions and having hooks in the beginning. A little bit of criticism would be to pick a solution to your issue and really dive deep into that solution and explain your plans for that specific solution. I would also work on your ending it felt a little abrupt.

  4. Hi Aaron,
I really like how you began your elevator pitch because it makes it so relatable, especially as a UF student where parking is slim-to-none on a consistent basis. I also like how you discussed examples of those you know struggling to get to class or just skipping class because parking is such a hassle. Great job and thank you for sharing!
