22A – Elevator Pitch No. 3

On my last elevator pitch, I received mostly positive feedback and some negative feedback as well. It seemed pretty consistent that my peers really like my attention getter. They also mentioned how I was very descriptive which allowed them to paint a mental picture of my solution/problem in their head. The negative feedback was that I should just choose one solution and hone in on that one. I also need a better, less abrupt ending.

I tried to do all the positive things that I did in my last class and I tried to incorporate some of the other things that my peer said I could improve upon, such as choosing one solution to hone in on rather than multiple. I also tried to add a better, less abrupt ending.

  1. Aaron,
While I did not watch your last pitch, you'd be happy to know that I did not notice the critiques that you mentioned receiving on the last elevator pitch you posted. You seemed to stay completely focused on one idea and i was expecting the ending. It did not seem abrupt what-so-ever. Additionally, I thought you were thorough and clear in your explanation and I understood it fully. Nice job.

  2. Aaron,
Great elevator pitch! I have no criticism. I like how you started with a very relatable introduction that caught your audience’s attention. I also like how you discussed how you have seen the problems this issue causes for your friends firsthand, and the consequences of a lack of parking on campus (spending hundreds of dollars on Ubers, parking illegally, etc.). This shows you are passionate and knowledgeable about your cause, which makes your audience more likely to trust you and your product.

  3. Aaron,
Great work on your third elevator pitch. You really showed improvement from your last elevator pitch and incorporated a lot of the feedback that you received. You have great delivery in your pitches and have showed that you have thought out this issue with great detail. Great work focusing on one specific solution and selling that to your viewers; this really allows them to focus better and understand your purpose.

  4. Hi Aaron,
I think you did a great job on this elevator pitch! Your attention-grabber was relatable which set the scene for the audience to hear your solution to this parking issue. I definitely think your pitches have improved so kudos to you for improving something that was already very well done. Overall great pitch with no critiques at all!

I am glad you are taking this feedback and these comments to heart. I also like that you chose to focus in on one solution rather than a few because it gives specificity to your product. Another thing I loved about your post was the attention grabber at the beginning iit really grabs the audience and brings them in to the pitch. great entry.
